Publishing and embedding your virtual tour in NestTrail allows you to share your creation with the world, making it accessible across platforms, websites, and even in virtual reality. NestTrail provides a variety of publishing options to ensure your tour meets your specific needs. This guide will walk you through the publishing process and explain the additional features available to enhance the sharing experience.
To begin, navigate to the Publish section from the side menu and select Tour. This is where you can configure the publishing settings for your virtual tour. Let’s explore the available options in detail:

Protection
You can protect your tour by restricting access. NestTrail offers two methods of protection:
Password Protection: Require viewers to enter a password before accessing the tour. This ensures that only authorized individuals can view the content.
Lead Generation: Restrict access until viewers provide their contact information. This feature is perfect for businesses looking to collect leads while showcasing their virtual tours.

Expiring Dates
NestTrail allows you to control when a tour is accessible by setting start and end dates. This is particularly useful for time-sensitive events or promotions. Simply specify the Start Date and End Date for your tour. Additionally, you can define a Redirect URL, which directs users to a specific webpage once the tour expires. This feature ensures a seamless user experience even after the tour is no longer available.

Meta Tag
To enhance the visibility and presentation of your tour when shared, fill in the Title and Description fields. These details appear as meta tags, improving search engine optimization (SEO) and ensuring a professional appearance when the tour link is shared. You can also upload a Thumbnail Image to provide a preview of the tour. A well-chosen thumbnail can increase click-through rates and attract more viewers.

Share & Embed
Every virtual tour you create in NestTrail is automatically published with a permanent link. To share the tour, you have several options:
Sharing: Use the provided icons to share the tour on social media platforms, messaging apps, or email.
Friendly Links: Assign a custom, user-friendly URL to make the tour link more memorable and professional.
Embedding: Use the provided embed code to integrate the virtual tour into any website. For example, you can embed it into your WordPress editor or any HTML-supported platform.
QR Codes: Generate a QR code for your tour, making it easy to share and access on mobile devices.
To deactivate a tour, simply change its status to Deactivated. Additionally, you can highlight a specific tour by selecting the Show on First Page option, which makes it the default tour displayed on your website’s homepage.

Virtual Reality
For an even more immersive experience, NestTrail supports publishing tours in Virtual Reality (VR). With VR tours, viewers can explore the virtual space from multiple perspectives, adjusting their position and viewing angle to get a lifelike experience. VR tours can also include the same customization options as regular tours, such as protection, expiring dates, and meta tags.

By leveraging these robust publishing features, you can ensure your virtual tours are accessible, secure, and professionally presented. Whether you’re embedding a tour on your website, sharing it on social media, or providing a VR experience, NestTrail equips you with all the tools needed to captivate your audience and maximize the impact of your virtual tours.
