NestTrail offers powerful features such as Live Sessions and Meetings that allow users to engage in real-time virtual tours with their audience. These features provide an interactive experience, enabling tour hosts to communicate via video and audio, guide viewers through the tour, and collaborate effectively. This guide will walk you through enabling and using Live Sessions and Meetings step by step.
Enabling Live Sessions and Meetings
To enable Live Sessions and Meetings in your virtual tour, navigate to the Virtual Tours section and select Editor UI from the side menu. In the Editor UI, click on the menu icon located in the top-left corner, then select the Live Session / Meeting item. To enable these features, check the Show field in the settings panel.
For added security, you can protect access to Live Sessions and Meetings with a password. This option is available within the settings box, allowing only authorized participants to join. Once you have configured the desired settings, click Save in the top-right corner to apply the changes.

Using Live Sessions
To start a Live Session, open the desired virtual tour and click on the Start Live Session menu item. Once selected, you will be prompted to choose whether to share both video and audio or audio only, depending on your preferences and requirements.

Upon initiating the session, a unique link will appear on the screen. This link can be shared with participants you want to invite to join the live session. Once they click on the link, they will be directed to the tour and can engage in real-time communication.

As the host, you have control over your participants' navigation within the tour. By clicking on the lock icon, you can either lock their movement to follow your guided path or allow them to explore independently. This feature ensures that participants stay focused on key areas of the tour.

To end the live session, simply click on the red handset icon, which will terminate the session and disconnect all participants.
Using Meetings
To join a meeting, open the virtual tour and select the Join Meeting menu item. This action will open a window on the left side of the screen where you need to enter your name and click the Join Meeting button.
For inviting others, share the meeting link with participants, and they can repeat the same process to join the session. The meeting feature allows multiple users to join and interact within the virtual space simultaneously, making it an excellent tool for group presentations, collaborative discussions, or guided tours.
