How to Add a Background Song to Your Virtual Tour in NestTrail

Adding a background song to your virtual tour in NestTrail can greatly enhance the user experience, providing an immersive and engaging atmosphere as users navigate through the tour. Follow the detailed steps below to upload, configure, and customize a background song for your virtual tour.

Uploading a Background Song

To begin, navigate to the Virtual Tours section in the side menu and select List Tours. Find the tour you wish to add a background song to and click the Edit button next to it. This action will open the tour editor where you can manage its contents.

Once in the editor, switch to the Contents / Song tab. In this section, you can upload a new song to be played during the tour. Ensure that the song you want to use is saved as an MP3 file on your device. Click the Upload Song button to open the file selection dialog, select your desired MP3 file, and wait for the upload to complete. Once the upload is finished, the selected song will be associated with your virtual tour. Don’t forget to click the Save button at the top of the page to confirm your changes.

Volume: Set the ideal volume level for the background song to ensure it complements the tour without overwhelming the user.

Configuring Background Song Settings

NestTrail allows you to fine-tune the background song settings to create the perfect auditory experience for your audience. To adjust these settings, navigate to the Editor UI section from the side menu and click on the Sound Icon. Here, you can customize:

Autoplay Mode: Enable or disable autoplay, depending on whether you want the song to start automatically when the tour begins.

After making the desired adjustments, click the Save button located at the top right corner of the page.

Important Considerations

When selecting a background song, always ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use it in your virtual tour. Using copyrighted material without proper authorization may lead to legal issues. Consider using royalty-free music or obtaining a license for commercial songs to avoid any complications.

By adding a background song and configuring its settings, you can elevate the quality of your virtual tours in NestTrail, providing users with an engaging and memorable experience. Whether you choose a calming melody, an upbeat tune, or thematic music, the right background song can make your virtual tour truly stand out.
